On and Off the Wall

What You’ll Learn:

  • Feel empowered and motivated in life’s challenges. Build healthy relationships and self-image. Live an intentional life.
  • This program is a mental training curriculum designed to build a resilient, flexible mind that is equipped to deal with stress, anxiety, and fear that you encounter on your adventures and in your daily life.
  • We use a combination of one-to-one training sessions, experiential drills and exercises, and written reflection to help you gain command over your attention--the mind’s most powerful tool--and give you tangible and practical tools for challenge and adversity.
  • This program is grounded in traditional mindfulness practices, cutting-edge performance psychology research, and years of experience working with top-level climbers and others in high-stress situations. Arno Ilgner and Lor Sabourin are there to guide and support you at each step on your journey to a more intentional, love-based approach to life.

What to Expect

Personalized coaching takes athletes through drills and exercises to help them understand subtle mental training concepts. Each call, the trainer sets up new drills for the coming week that the athlete will be asked to practice and reflect on in a shared journal. On their next call, the athlete and trainer will discuss the drills and build on them for further learning.

Personalized Coaching is an ongoing, personalized training program. Trainers are available during weekly scheduled calls and throughout the week in a shared journal to answer questions and provide support.

  • Online interaction: ongoing online journal communication with your coach for posting assignments, journaling results, and getting feedback from your coach.
