183_8313-w900-h700Energy moves along the path of least resistance. In previous lessons we clarified our current reality and the end result we want to create. Knowing our current reality allowed us to know our ability with certain skills. We also identified a clear end result that gave us a vision to aim for. Without a clear vision we allow our energy to flow along paths of least resistance that don’t lead us anywhere. We may climb routes we’ve climbed many times because it is easier, rather than climbing new challenging routes.

Once we clarify our current reality and identify the end result, a structure is created. The two separate parts become united into one unified structure. When we hold both our current reality and the end result in our awareness, a structural tension is created. Now, when we take action, our energy flows along the path of least resistance through that structure to close the gap.

A river is connected from its source to its final destination. The structure includes valleys and mountains between the two. Water flows through that structure the easiest way, twisting and turning, closing the gap. A route connects the ground to the summit. The structure includes all the features of the rock or mountain face. Climbers use their energy to climb through that structure the easiest way, twisting and turning, closing the gap.
