Here’s a TED Talk that Jonathan Haidt did on morals, dissecting liberals and conservatives. If you’re liberal, don’t start feeling too comfortable, thinking Jonathan agrees with your views. If you’re conservative, don’t stop watching thinking he’s liberal. Wait and continue to watch so you can be surprised.
Yin and yang need each other. Liberals and conservatives each have something to contribute. Step outside your moral matrix and gain an opportunity to investigate where your morals come from. You might find that being for your political party and against the other political party is what’s keeping our country polarized.

If you want the truth to stand clear before you,
never be for or against.
The struggle between “for” and “against”
is the mind’s worst disease.
