Joe Lee
Jo is an Australian Climbing Instructor Association certified single-pitch climbing guide, and is committed to creating climbing spaces where we don’t have to worry about being judged for ‘not learning fast enough’, ‘not strong enough’ or ‘not brave enough’. A big advocate of mental training for climbing, she loves teaching students how to struggle well in stressful situations, whether in climbing or life. Jo is part of a global network with 15 other Warrior’s Way instructors located in the US and Europe, making her the first Warrior’s Way woman-of-colour instructor in the world (which is really exciting). She is the founder of Women Uprising and Affinity Initiative and is fluent in four languages.
